A. Definition of offering to do something

   An offer to do something is an offer that we give to someone if that person is in trouble/difficulty/needs help (someone is in trouble/difficulty, someone is having difficulty doing something, or someone needs help/assistance).

   Offering to do something is also usually related to our attitude and character to others.  What kind of character and attitude we actually can be seen from how light our hands towards others.  Our character and attitude will be seen by others from the way and desire to help others.

B. Offering Something Expression (Ungkapan Menawarkan Sesuatu)

1. May I help you? 

2. Can I help you? 

3. Do you need some help?

4. Would you like some help?

5. What can I do for you? 

C. Response Offering Something. 

    (Respon Ditawarkan Sesuatu)

   1. Yes, of course.

   2. Yes, thank you. 

   3. No, thanks. I'm OK. 

   4. Thank you. 

   5. I'd love to.

D. Example Conversation Offering 

    To Do Something

Waiter  : Good morning, Sir… What can I do for you?

Guest   : Wait for minutes, I would like to look at the list of the menu.

Waiter  : Ok, please.

Guest   : Waiter…..

Waiter  : Yes, Sir. What kind of food or beverages do you want?

Guest   : I would like French fries and orange juice.

Waiter  : French fries and orange juice. Don’t you want to try our exclusive of pizza?

Guest   : What taste is it?

Waiter  : Cheese, beef and sweet corn.

Guest   : I will try cheese, please

Waiter  : Ok, Sir. Wait for us. Thank you
